International Fund Servicing Business Upgrades With New Advent Platform

Butterfield Fulcrum, the fund services business, has upgraded to Advent’s Geneva 8.5, a new release of the US-based technology firm’s Geneva portfolio management and fund accounting system. In addition, Butterfield Fulcrum said it has “significantly enhanced its operations and technology infrastructure to deliver front-, middle- and back-office services supported by a fully implemented technology solution”. Among the features of the upgrade are: real-time profit and loss and exposure views that allow firms to make important decisions; simplified tools to build, customise, and deploy dashboards and reports, and private equity support, including capital commitment and call processing. Butterfield Fulcrum serves more than 800 funds. It has 12 offices in nine countries and employs over 500 people.
